Philip has written the essay for Another Green World: Encounters with a Scottish Arcadia (Art/Books with Cove Park), featuring Alison Turnbull’s photographs of the extraordinary, secluded Linn Botanic Gardens on Loch Long, western Scotland. This autumn Philip will be speaking at literary festivals in Southampton, Folkestone, and Guadalajara. In November he will be awarded an honourary doctorate by Southampton Solent University.
